Hillforest was the home of industrialist and financier Thomas Gaff and his family between 1855 to 1891. The home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and a National Landmark in 1992. After a great day of touring Hillforest, relax with us at Riverside Inn.

From 9am - 1pm every Saturday from June 6th- October 10th. Come over to Newton Park located in Lawrenceburg and buy some fresh, locally grown produce. Join us for the Lawrenceburg Speedway opening night! Located at the Lawrenceburg Fairgrounds. There is a race every Saturday for the month (20th & 27th). Watch the races of sprint, modified and pure stock, hornet racing on 3/8 mile high-banked clay oval track. For any race car drivers or race car fans needing a place to stay please call and ask about our special rate for race car drivers participating at the Lawrenceburg Speedway and fans watching the race.

15Special Olympics Fire Truck Pull
Located at the new Lawrenceburg Civic Park, the Special Olympics will be holding their Fire Truck Pull to raise money for Special Olympic Athletes in the southeastern Indiana counties. Teams of 15 will pull a 74,000 pound fire truck fifty feet in the least amount of time. The fire truck pull is free to attend. Along with the competition there will also be a car show, live music, food, and other family activities. The event is held between 12pm-4pm. After a fun filled evening, come rest at the Riverside Inn. We are located just a few minutes away from the park.
16Carnegie Hall Open for Tours
Carnegie Hall at 14687 Main Street in Moores Hill, Indiana. This is just a 20 minute ride in the country. Carnegie Hall was built in 1907 as an additional building for the College of Moores Hill. It now houses three museums, a local Military, Indiana History, and all of the museums are filled with local college, school and personal memorabilia from the town. If you are a Alumni and or a Military buff you will enjoy what the Carnegie has to show. After a day of wandering around the museums enjoy a cozy night with us at Riverside Inn.   more info
20Music on The River - Civic Park
Civic Park is making a comeback this summer with their free weekly event of 'Music on The River'. For more than 15 years in downtown Lawrenceburg, Every Thursday, from June to August. The concerts feature acts from country to rock, pop, big band and more. Don't forget to bring your lawn chairs. A car show is also held at the same time each week. Lots of food and beverages are available for purchase. Once you're full of good food and beverages from this event; head on over to Riverside Inn where you can end your evening with comfortable accommodations and a delicious continental breakfast the next day! This nights band is Whoa, Man! Band. They are a women of rock tribute band.   more info
20Aurora Historic District Churches Walking Tour
Located on 231 Main Street in Aurora they will be having their historic church tour starting at 6:30 pm. Enjoy the beauty of these historic churches while also getting some exercise. You will be able to maintain social distancing as well while doing so. After the tour stop on by Riverside Inn and book a room for the night to rest your feet. We are located about 10 minutes away from Aurora.

Aurora is a quaint river town just past Lawrenceburg 3 miles, the City sponsors a city wide sale of treasure your sure to love, obtaining a map at the community center you'll be able to shop till you drop, after you've loaded the vehicle with treasure, wondering if there is anything you forgot, grab a room with us at the Riverside Inn to organize your treasures from the first day and go hunting again the second day. Riverside Inn is such a short distance from the sale action.

Starting 11:AM to 10:PM Lawrenceburg Civic Park, High and Short Streets. 64th Annual Cruisin to a Cure for ALS
This event is a car show and is hosted by 19 year old Logan Lawrence; in memory of his Grandfather. It is located in downtown Lawrenceburg. Registration starts at 9 am and the showing is at noon. All Vehicles are encouraged: show cars, race cars, motorcycles, and more! The entry fee is $15.00 and there are awards for the top 50 classics, 25 modern and over 20 specialty trophies, a wonderful event for the entire family. After a day of fun, make sure you stop by the Riverside Inn for our own special rate for this event and make it a weekend that your family will not soon forget.
6Tri- State Antique Market
The Antique Market happens the 1st of every month. May 3rd, June 7th, July 5th, August 2nd, September 6th, and October 4th for the 2020 season.
The Tri-State Antique Market is Indiana's Largest Antique Vintage Market in the Tri-state area, and is right next door to the Riverside Inn.

This is a week long event that the entire family will enjoy! There is acres of the flea market, and there is always something to do and see at Friendship. 13Arts and Crafts in the Park
From 9 am to 4 pm at the Newtown park on US 50 located in Lawrenceburg. The Phi Beta Psi Tau chapter continues a tradition of over 41 years of quality handmade craft items such as jewelry, soaps, candles, home decor and more! Vendors from several states, in addition to the tri-state area will be present. Funds support the sorority's national project for cancer research. Food and drinks will be available. This is a unique opportunity to start your Christmas Shopping early, and get some real treasures. This craft event is a must. The Antique Market happens the 1st of every month from May to October.
The Tri-State Antique Market is Indiana's Largest Antique Vintage Market in the Tri-state area, and is right next door to the Riverside Inn!
